12v Yeager Cottage Solar Kit

The 12v Yeager Cottage solar kit is a great option if you are looking to power a well-pump (250 gallons per day), water-softener, some household appliances and LED lights in moderation. The total battery capacity for this solar system is 10,080 watts, 5,040 watts usable at 50% DOD. This system comes with 460 watts of solar power ready for winter production of 2,300 watts at 2.5 hours and summer productions of 4,600 watts at 5 hours. You can multiply these solar production numbers by 2 if you’re using a two-panel add-on. This solar system also works great if you’re looking to power the following: (#1) refrigerator or freezer (need add-on), several household appliances, and LED lights (#2) Grundfos SQflex Solar pump, several heating pumps and LED lights. We recommend a 3000-watt or larger backup generator for this system. A 2,000-watt generator is an option but will shorten the life of your batteries.
